Campus platform for Dutch higher education
The all-in-one student app for digital-first universities
CampusConnext helps universities turn fragmented communication, timetables, academic updates, and student communities into one trusted mobile environment, supporting student belonging, engagement, and digital transformation goals.
- Belonging and engagement built in, so students connect to their programme, faculty, and campus community.
- Works alongside Osiris, LMS platforms, timetable tools, and Microsoft environments.
- Measurable reach for Student Affairs, simpler communication for faculties, trusted integration for IT.
The challenge universities face
One place to track what matters
Dutch universities are not simply looking for another app. They are working toward stronger learning communities, better student belonging, more flexible education, and digital environments that support how students study and connect. But student communication is currently spread too thin, and that fragmentation creates real problems across teams.
Student Affairs / Communications
You send the update, but you never really know if students saw it. Email open rates are unreliable, and there is no easy way to reach the right group at the right time.
IT / Digitalisation
Every new tool added to the mix raises new questions: who has access, where does the data go, and how does it connect to what already exists? More tools rarely means less complexity.
Faculties & Programmes
You post it in the LMS, send it by email, add it to the intranet, and still get the same question in week three. There is no single place where students reliably check.
Students
Your schedule is in one place, your grades in another, events somewhere else, and support somewhere else again. Keeping track of everything takes more effort than it should.
What we help solve
Strengthen belonging and engagement
Give students one familiar place to connect with their programme, faculty, and campus community.
Support digital transformation without disruption
CampusConnext works alongside existing systems like Osiris, LMS platforms, timetable tools, and Microsoft environments, without replacing them.
Improve student success signals
Make communication, deadlines, events, rosters, and academic information easier to find and act on.
Built for university-wide adoption
One platform that works for students, staff, and IT
CampusConnext gives each team what they need: students get one clear place to stay informed, Student Affairs gets measurable reach, faculties get easier communication, and IT gets a secure layer that works with existing university systems.
See all featuresIdentity and access
Microsoft Entra ID, JWT sessions, refresh rotation, staff roles separated from student accounts
Broadcasts and events
Targeted posts by faculty, year, or course; events with RSVP in the same tool as news
Academic data in context
Roster slots and SIS grades next to official updates when integrations are enabled, without an extra student login
Privacy choices
Student card number held on-device; only what the integration needs touches the server
Encryption
TLS in transit; AES-256 at rest on our PostgreSQL/Supabase layer
Admin web
Staff-only dashboard for publishing, scheduling, and moderation with an audit trail
Official channels
A single feed for official announcements and events
Give communications and faculties a single web workspace for news and events. Push to cohorts you define (programme, year, course) so email is not the only place deadlines live.
- Filter audiences by faculty, year band, or course group
- Read receipts on broadcasts when you need proof of reach
- Events and announcements share one calendar and notification path

Schedule and marks
SIS and rosters
Timetables and marks alongside official updates
Pull timetable data into the same screen as institutional posts. Surface SIS grades where students already check updates, so assessment weeks mean fewer “which portal was that?” moments.
- Roster sync via your timetable vendor’s API after SSO, where available
- Course marks and progress from your SIS, permissioned per role
- Fewer ad-hoc screenshots and unofficial forwarding chains
Integrations
Complements your existing systems
We are not asking you to replace your SIS or LMS. CampusConnext reads what students need day-to-day and keeps official traffic on channels you can moderate and measure.
Microsoft Entra ID · Identity
SSO and federation for staff and students
Schedules · Academic Data
Live rosters from your timetable system (for example MyTimetable where deployed)
SIS · Academic Data
Course results from your student information system, in-app
SharePoint · Content
Institutional pages and documents surfaced in feeds where you wire them
REST API layer · Infrastructure
Hooks for institution-specific systems beyond the default connectors
Supabase / PostgreSQL · Data
Row-level security and tenant separation at the database
Security and governance
Documentation your CIO, FG, and procurement can read
We expect questions from IT, legal, and purchasing. The architecture uses Microsoft Entra ID for sign-in, TLS for transport, AES-256 at rest, row-level security between tenants, and an administrative audit trail for publishing actions.
Authentication
Microsoft Entra ID; JWT access tokens with rotating refresh tokens
Data protection
TLS in transit; AES-256 at rest on PostgreSQL/Supabase
Access control
Staff roles for publishing and support; students cannot reach admin APIs
Data minimisation
Student card number stays on-device, not copied into our central database
Schedule a walkthrough with your stakeholders
We align the first session with the teams you want present first (for example student affairs, IT, or a faculty pilot). Share your integration list; we provide architecture notes in return.
